Polar Bears – Landscape

 

 

Join our Workshop at Svalbard summer of 2022. Exact date will be determined when the roster (12) is filled.

The main focus will be on Polar Bears.

There will be ample opportunities along the way to get pictures of the beautiful Lansacape, Walrus, Seal, Grandeur Eider, Eider, Kittiwake, Bird Mountins, Glaciers and maybe Whales.

 

 

Get ready for Boat Cruise in, what I think is, the coolest environment ever.

This workshop offers: Provate Cabin on board, Food, Local Guides, Photo course and lectures,(daily).

The lectures will cover Photo Techniques, Animals, Birds and Landscape. You will also receive private coaching on your photos.

I will be present during the complete trip to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

My aim is to support you in getting as many wonderful pictures from Svalbard as possible, and to help you to improve your Photografy as much as I can.

 

 

We will most likely sail towards the pack ice, where the Polar Bears enjoy their summers. The guides and I will also scout for Polar Bears throughout the journey and we invite you to assist us with this.

We will launch the Zodiacs (rubber dingys) whenever we find Polar Bears or anynything else interesting. Most of the photografy will happen from an eleveted position in close proximity of the Bears and/or other motifs.

The Ship we are travelling on is super nice, and I know that you will enjoy yourself and have a wonderful tour assisted by the ships crew. They will make sure that we will have a good time and care for us in the best way possible.

 

 

An optional excursion before boarding the Ship, at self cost, will be a day-trip to Barentsburg in a rented car to explore the the nature around Longyearbyn. The trip will give us opportunities to shoot photos of landscape, white-headed goose, grandeur eider, eider at short distance. Svalbard Reindeer and Arctic Fox are also possibilites. This tour will be guided by me.

N.B! Max number of participants is 12. This gives us more room in the Zodiacs, and lets me and the guides have better opportunities to offer you personal service.

Price. All above included for ca 50000 SEK. Exact price will be determined when the group is complete.

Not include in the price is: Air fare to and from Svalbard, Drinks not served with meals, Insurance fees and Cancellation insurance.
